Need low-key bachelorette party ideas

I'm a BM in a wedding three weeks away - - - and it seems as though the MOH hasn't given any thought to the bachelorette party. Since my FI is the BM, I know he's planning the bachelor party for next weekend......and I want to do something the same night - so she's having her fun too. Strippers are absolutely out of the question - as the bride wouldn't stand for it. It will only be like 6 of us - - - - and while the city would be nice - - I think a LI destination would be preferred. I'm thinking dinner and SOMETHING - - - - - any help with the something?

Thanks!

Re: Need low-key bachelorette party ideas

I Think the best low key thing for a bachelorette party I ever saw was a cooking class. Bar-hopping and strippers wouldn't be good for me. I rarely drink and if I do, its very little. I'd like a cooking class or a spa.

Re: Need low-key bachelorette party ideas

I also think a spa is a fun idea.

Other suggestions:
-THere are places where you can do pottery and lunch/dinner.

-In Manhatten there are hotels that do high tea in the afternoon. They have tea and finger sandwiches..

-Broadway show in Manhattan

-'Strike' bowling in New Hyde Park. Really fun bowling...dj/bar/go-cars/restaurant. Its adults only in the evening and is a lot of fun! (there is also one in Manhattan)

Good Luck!
