We're going to Key West. I heard it's beautiful down there.
IT IS SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL DOWN THERE!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT THERE!!!!!
You are going to have an amazing time!!! Where are you staying??? we stayed at the Wyndham Casa Marina...
I actually don't know where we are staying yet...It's on my to do list. I am way behind How was the Casa Marina?
Oh my gosh... I think its the nicest hotel down there... and it is in the middle of EVERYTHING!
You can walk, or rent a bike everywhere... my FH and I biked around the entire island... and I am not fit at all heheheh its such a small island and you just walk down the street and you are on the main street in the middle of everything.
Def check it out. Also... if you got to Wyndham. com... you can check out their "webrates" and get a cheaper deal... only thing is that it is non refundable... but hey... You know nothing will stop you from going on your honeymoon...

I'm July 8, 2007!!! I have my ceremony and reception booked at Leonard's but want more of a garden touch. Can anyone recommend a garden for an outdoor ceremony? I have info from Old Westbury Gardens and Planting Fields but wanted to know of any other areas closer to Leonard's....

I am probably going to do DIY centerpieces. Luckily my FMIL is very crafty and has offered to help out. I also have a make-up/hair trial at the end of the month and I am going to a Fox Hollow Tea Party on Thursday (hope that helps me out).

So amongst hundreds of other things on our 'list' the honeymoon is up there. Where are all you July Brides going??
we are going to disney's grand floridian for 10 nights!! im soo excited.
have you all booked ur hair/makeup? this is the fianl thing i am really slacking with! i cant make a decision.
I only had one trial w/ JN. Here is one pic. $150 day of. Love her
wow. that seems like a lot. maybe its just me but this is the one thing i am having a hard time spending that much money on. i am far from cheap but $150 for what? maybe thats why i havent made a decision. well if i keep waiting ill be doing it myself.
I know, FH almost fainted He asked JN, "why was the trial x amount if the day of is another amount. I could have LOL. She comes to you, that is their main reason. Trust me, I shopped around. For those who weren't already booked, everyone else charged that much. I even asked a girl at the MAC counter.

Hi Girls,
Thought I would join in. I am a July Bride. July 20, but I'm not from LI. I'm from Westchester and my wedding is actually in NJ, but you LIWers have been the best.
HeatherandRichie your make-up looks fabulous. she did a wonderful job!!
I wanted to add that FH and I will be going to Aruba for our honeymoon. We wanted guaranteed good weather.
Thank you

Hmm, I live in Florida. My DOC recommeded Planting Fields and Bayard. Planting Fields is far from us, so we went w/ Bayard. I'm confused about what you're asking. Are you not happy w/ Leonard's and you want something else? If so, how about Majestic Gardens? FSIL is getting married there 5/08

My DOC and I just discussed this. I wrote it down & its at work I have about 40 OOT guests, since I live in FL. I think she set my RSVP date to 6/1. And to send them in April. I'll double check.

Don't feel behind. Please ask for help. I live in FL, so planning is tough. I have done so much research on all vendors and am willing to lend you the info. I ma DIY invites. I bought the pocketfolders and we're assembling them ourselves. Limos-ha, man did I learn a lesson this month on limos. I can def. help w/ that As for the HM, it depends on what you 2 like.

Re: OFFICIAL JULY 2007 THREAD
So I have a TON of OOT guest... and it is up in the air who is coming and who isn't... So I plan on having to RSVP dates... 1 earlier for the OOTer's and 1 later for the domestic family...
Then I can add more people on later on knowing how many OOTer's are going to be able to make it or not...
Does that make sense???
So Figure I am going to send out the OOT's invites beginning of April and have a May 15th RSVP for the OOTer's... and then I will send the other invites out the beginning of May for the domestic fam and have a June 15th date...
Do you think that is enough time???
It is so hard to judge... really the difference could be as much as like 60 people that may or may not come... THATS A LOT... and that is why I need to do it like this...
Does anyone see anything wrong with this that I am not thinking about???

I was plannin on sendin invites for my DW weddin in April also, so I think you are aon the right path. By the time they get their invites, they should be making plans to travel to NY, then you will have a better sense if you can add to your guest list.

Agreed, the earlier the better for OOT'ers.
