Linens and things vs. BBand Beyond

Which is better??????? I have been to both, and I kind of like Linens and things better.

I am torn on where to register. I was going to go with Macy's, William Sonoma and one of these two. Now I am thinking of just doing one of these two and William Sonoma. I went on the Linens and Things website, and I had no idea they sold fine china and flatware.

What do you all think???????

Re: Linens and things vs. BBand Beyond

I registered at BB &B .....I feel that they have more than Linens & Things. And I think they have more stores. JMO - I think either is a great pick, they're fairly reasonable & accessible.

Re: Linens and things vs. BBand Beyond

We were torn as well.. but BB and beyond also sells fine china at the store in westbury. With BBB your guest could use expired coupons as well as Linens and things coupons. I know we are always getting BBB coupons more than LNT Im not sure about LNT but with BBB you can return at any time, there is no time limit.. HTH!

Re: Linens and things vs. BBand Beyond

BB&B is where we registered. I loved the fact that you can return anything up to 2 years after your wedding date. Plus they also sell fine china & flatware if you need it. Also they honor expired coupons & you can use as many as you want in one purchase. I used 5 this past weekend!

My SIL used LNT & tons of things were not taken off her registry & she ended up with many duplicates

Re: Linens and things vs. BBand Beyond

I actually went with Linens and Things because I've gone there for years. I really like BBB too - so it was a hard decision. I think when I fell in love with certain items at LNT and BBB didn't have them, I leaned towards it.

I haven't had any registry problems thus far but I haven't had a shower or anything. Scares me a little about the duplicate thing Kissy - but I'll mention that to my mom...

I recently had a problem with something I ordered online and a store in Jersey but they seem to do the right thing in fixing it.

I guess I just have shopped there so much myself, that I wanted to keep it going.

Bed Bath and Beyond is much nicer in my opinion. That's where I'm registering for most of my stuff.

Re: Linens and things vs. BBand Beyond

I registered at LNT, but i have friends that registered at BBB. As a shopper- BBB is really terrible. I couldnt find anything that i was looking for on my friends registry, and the wait was forever to get someone to help me.
They have the same kinds of stuff...

Re: Linens and things vs. BBand Beyond

we chose LNT because of their return policy and their locations. BBB isn't all over the place, such as Arizona and Florida. But, to me, they are almost the same

Re: Linens and things vs. BBand Beyond

Thanks, I think I will go and look at both.
Is anyone registering at three places instead of two?
I love William Sonoma, and I want most of my cooking item's from there. My future in-laws have already bought me a lot from that store.

Coming from a guests point of view, BBandB is much more customer friendly than LNT. My friend recently was registered there, and a number of the things on her registry were not found in the store. They were either discontinued or just not there... no where on the registry did it say this. I too had a problem with duplicate gifts. At her shower, she received 4 coffee makers and 3 toilet paper holders. So needless to say, I went with BBandB. And this concludes my rant about LNT!
