Great Favor Idea
I just wanted to share this with all of you looking for favor ideas.I went to a wedding this weekend and the favor was so unique! They had a vendor there who during the cocktail hour and early part of the reception got pictures of all the couples, for singles some took solo pics, some got friends to take it with them, etc. Then by the end of the night they had all the pictures printed (5x7) and on the bottom they had the name of the bride and groom with the date in a simply silver frame.
I thought it was great because DH and I go to events constantly and never take pictures so that was great! And a lot of times when they give frames at events I put them in a closet and never use them! THis one I already have on display. Everyone who was at the wedding thought it was great! I left the info at home but if anyone is interested I will post the vendor later!

This is a great idea, something pple would actually keep! Soon2BMsZ had this at her wedding. She found her photographer on CraigsList, I think the info might be on her review.

Re: Great Favor Idea
I almost did something similar...I was going to have the pictures made into coasters, I was at an event where they did this, and it was kind of cool, but I went with a donation favor!

Re: Great Favor Idea
This was a vendor who had been recommended by the hall she had her wedding at! She was really good, took two shots of everyone and before cake was served all the pictures were displayed on a table for everyone to pick up on their way out! I loved the idea! I will get you the vendor info when I get home tonight, it was on the back of the frame!

Ya know to add to your idea..I notice they have a vendor on here that rents those instant photobooths.I thought that was pretty clever. Too bad I saw it too late...

If you did it for your wedding...I have a question...did everyone crowd around the booth? I mean, did it take away from people dancing at all?? Just a thought

I didn't have a booth.. Instead I had the photographer go around to the tables. My cps and room were beautiful so why not use em

Re: Great Favor Idea
At the wedding I went to there was no booth! The photographer came around with a list during the cocktail hour and then early on in the reception! She marked off each couple as she took their photo! The photos came in nice plain silver frames and on the bottom of the photo is say Michelle and John's Wedding , with the date underneath! It was really nice!
The info is The image Maker (914) 963-8551.
They were a recommended vendor of Coral House where she got married! I have been so busy at work I have yet to remember to get the info from her on price and such!

This was a separate photographer from the main one, a completely separate vendor. THe photos when done were placed out on the placecard table! It was nice too because we got to see some other peoples photos as well when they were all set up on the table!
