The day was absolutely beautiful the whether was amazing. Not too hot at all just PERFECT. Of course what everyone says is true it does go by too fast. But I did enjoy every minute of it. Thank You to LIW for giving me such great advice and ideas I don't know what my wedding would have been like without this website. So now here is my review.

rehearsal Dinner - Jillians in Farmingdale A
We booked the billiards room it was great the way it was set up. The guys loved it espeically my hubby he is a big pool shark. The service was great also and the food was good too. They even gave us all free game cards to play games in there it was a great night of fun a great way to let loose before the BIG DAY.


Grooms Cake - Black Forest Bakery A
I got the grooms cake for the rehearsal Dinner it was a pool table. Black Forest did a great job it came out good and it tasted even better. They were very reasonably priced too.

Hotel - Homewood Suites/Plainview A+
They were great and the rooms were beautiful. The night before me, my mom, and my BM stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which had 2 bathrooms and a living room and kicthen. It was great it felt like a big slumber party with me and my girls. They also serve an amazing breakfast buffet FREE with your stay at the hotel. Needless to say I stuffed myself since that was probably going to be the last time I was eating for the day Overall the stay there was pleasurable and I will definitely be staying in a homewood suites whenever I am out of town.



Invitations - Linda Lovelies A+
SHe was great to work with and she gave me a great deal on our invites. She even helped with the wording and things. I highly recommend Linda. Our invites were by KOZA we loved them they matched the girls dresses perfectly and it totally set the tone for my wedding.

Favors - www.discountweddingfavors.com A
We ordered our favors online they were chrome wine bottle stoppers. What else can I say I got them at a great price and they arrived on time with no errors.

DRESS - Lidia's Bridal Boutique in Copiague A++
My gown was a Maggie Sattero Royal Romance I loved my gown it was amazing. And at Lidia's the ordering and up to the time of picking up my dress everything went smoothly. And they were reasonably priced. There service is impeccable they really just cater to you when you are there. The seamtress there is great also my bustle turned beautiful.

BM Dresses - Davids Bridal B+
I really can't say anything good or bad about David's. I mean the girls ordered the dresses they came in a timely fashion. The girls went elsewhere for alterations they were a bit high for alterations there. And also when you go in here they make you wait for anything even if you have a question.

Shoes - Sandy's Shoes A+
Me and my mom and BM all got our shoes here. My mom and BM all needed there shoes dyed so they all got them done there. They all came out great they macthed the dresses perfectly. And they even had cute handbags there to macth my girls dresses.

Tuxes - After Hours A
They were good I know there were a lot of mixed reviews regarding them but I did not have a problem with them. My dad and the Groomsmen all picked up there tuxes with no problem at all. So they were good I used the one in Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington. The tuxes looked great on the guys espiecally my hubby

Limos - Curise Control Limo Company A++++
These were one of my favorite vendors there drivers went above and beyond to make my day beautiful and run smoothly and on a timely schedule. First off we had booked them for the bacholarette party and the Driver we had was Brein he was amazing. Every bar or club we went to as soon as we walked outside from the places he was there right in front of the doors asking if we were o.k., were we ready to go, or whatever he was amazing. So on my wedding day we had requested him he drove me and my mom and Dad in the Rolls Royce and we had a another driver for the Hummer equally as good. They arrived early which with Friday evening rush hour traffic we made it to the church right on time. When we got there Brein asked if I had a DOC which I didn't so he took charge in getting my Bridal Party lined up and conducting with the pastor on when they should walk and everything. He fixed my girls Bo'ks as each got ready to walk down the aisle . And when it was time for me he fluffed my dress and put the veil correctly over my face I mean they were amazing. I highly recommend Curise Control they are a vendor on here and they are amazing they understand Brides and wedding and what's involved you will not be disappointed.

Florist - LABlossom A+++++++
What else can I say about Laurie that has not already been said. She was another favorite vendor. When I first met with Laurie and explained my vision and what I wanted she really just grasped it and ran with it. She made my wedding beautiful from my bouquets to my centerpiece they were amazing. My cake was the most beautiful I had ever seen exactly like the pic I showed her. Laurie work is amazing she is a true artist when it comes to creating the most beautiful flowers ever.

Make Up - Jacqueline Nicole A+
She was amazing at the trial I booked her right on the spot. The day of she arrived on time and ready to go she made my skin look flawless and the make-up was exactly what we had discussed in the trial it was even better. She really calm me down too because before she arrived I was running around crazy helping my BM get ready and rushing them and stuff Jacqueline was awesome she made me look and feel like a princess.

Hair - My Stylist Tasha / House of Essence A+
Tasha has been my hairstylist for years so there was no question on my wedding day who was doing my hair. I showed her a picture of the half up half down do I wanted and she did it even better than the picture. I loved my hair

Photography - Hi Lite Studio's A
The photography Company I booked is not a vendor on here I had saw them in a wedding magazine and went on that. When I first met with them they were very nice knowledgable they have been in the business for 10 years. And liked there work so we went ahead and booked them. Though I have to admit towards the end I was having doubts because they were one of the first vendors we booked. But in the end the photographer was great he arrived on time got started right away he was doing all the shots I wanted I didn't even have to ask so I am pleased so far. When I get the proofs I will give an update.

UPDATE 10/27/05:Well got my proofs back about a month ago actually, and I absolutely love them Hi Lites Studios did an amazing job! It was so hard to pick the ones for the album it took a while but we finally agreed and finished it so I should be getting the album back soon. But what an amzing job Hi Lite Studios did excellent work I definately recommend them.



DJ - EJ the DJ A+++ (Raphael)
They were awesome we had Raphael as our MC he was amazing. He got the party started and it didn't stop all night. The dance floor was never empty we danced all night long. People were telling me how it was like they were in a club with non-stop good music being played nobody left the dancefloor it was packed all night long! He was great at keeping everything on track with the evening of events. Raphael at EJ the DJ was the best MC people are still talking about the music and the MC on how on point he was with everything and very classy never cheesy like some other DJ's I have heard. I would definitely recommend Raphael at the EJ the DJ.

The Hall - Chateau La Mer A++++++++
When we first went to look at the CLM we knew right away this is where we wanted to have our wedding. We booked them right away. When I arrived to the CLM on the big day Nick was there to greet me at the door with a hug and Congrats. Immediately my bridal attendant took me down to the bridal suite and got me a drink. My bridal attendant was amazing evenmy hsband noticed how she kept our glasses full all night I never wanted for anything and she bustled me up in a snap when I arrived! But first me and my new hubby took a peek into the reception room and it was breathtaking! Then before you know it my bridal party started arriving we were eating and drinking and laughing and stuff just having a great time. And before you know it. It was time for me and my hubby to get on the BOAT for our big entrance the boat was great my photographer and bridal attendant accompanied us. The best was cool when we got to the deck and I seen all the my guests out there I was a bit overwhelmed all those people were here for us me and my husband. When we got off the boat I felt like JLO on the red carpet and my guests were the paparizzi everyone wanted a picture of us. So we took some pictures for a while and then headed back down to the bridal suite. And then before I knew it we were lining up for the entrance of the bridal party and us. After that everything just started running into each other. The Reception room looks amazing at night the votives lit on the table and the dim lit room was exactly liked I had always dreamed. I just want to Thank the Chateau La Mer and staff for making my Fairytale dream wedding a reality. This was a day I will never forget and wish I could relive and again and again.

Honeymoon - Fiesta Americana Grand
Coral Beach - Cancun Mexico A++
The resort was beautiful the grounds were huge they had 3 pools 2 swim up bars plus the beach. We are not beach people so we mostly hung out at the pool except for when we went Jet skiing which was awesome. Our room was huge we had a master suite it was huge we had a doorbell that the staff used . We had his and hers sinks in the bathroom plus a jacuzzi and steam shower for 2. This place was amazing we only ate in the hotel one night it was at there Mexican inspired restaurant which as amazing there service there is impeccable and the food was great. And they surprised us with a special treat for dessert which was a nice touch. Overall Cancun was beautiful we relaxed in the day and wine and dined and partied at night I would definitely go back Cancun!
