Opera- La Boheme- saw it in London and loved it! I also love Rent (I know it's not the same!)
Musical- Cabaret, The Producers (with Matthew and Nathan- can't wait for the movie). I have actually loved all of the plays I have see- Les Mis, Avenue Q, Phantom, etc
Favorite Play- 700 Sundays (Billy Crystal 1 man show). That was amazing!

fave play- NAKED BOYS SINGING
I saw a few other plays and to be honest, I just dont like Broadway. Does nothing for me.
Last 2 plays I saw, I fell asleep. Its a good thing I guess because FH hates the combination of singing and dancing. If someone bursts into song, he gets so mad he wants to punch something, LOL
we went to church around Easter to see the Stations of the Cross acted out. They started singing and acting- he had to leave.

Fh's favorite is Rent. He fell asleep in the FRONT ROW at 42nd St.

"into the woods" although i've never actually seen it - i love plays/musicals/operas but really havent had the opportunity to see many - i also thought "dance with the vampires" was great and i actually saw that one!

I love Miss Saigon...okay, I admit it, I have never seen the play  But I love the music so much that I am sure I would LOVE the play.
Of the plays I have seen I really liked Phantom of the Opera

I've seen a lot of B'way show but my favorite I actually saw in London. I saw the Lion King over there and it was amazing. I've never seen it in NY- I bet you it's even better here.
Also love Rent, Chicago and Mamma Mia.
Next I want to see Wicked- I'm reading the book it's based on now.

hmmm... this is a hard one. Fave play is probably Closer - I saw it off Broadway my first time in NY and it was amazing. Fave musical is probably Lion King, with Les Mis as a close second. Dying to see Wicked... the Producers... Avenue Q... and Spamalot.

Les Miserables was the 1st broadway show I went to and I LOVED it! Saw it again in it's last month playing  I also LOVED Beauty & the Beast as FH took me to see it the day he proposed!

Musical - Cabaret. I cried when it closed but I have the movie an watch it often (I love Liza!). Also Chicago. Anything Bob Fosse actually.
Opera - another vote for La Boheme.
Play - Death of a Salesman and anything Shakepeare.

FH and I have season tix for the Met, and I've seen alot of operas since we've been together, my fav's have to be:
La Boheme - soooooooooo romantic!
Carmen
Marriage of Figaro - mostly because we got engaged on the balcony of the Met right after that performance!
B'way - I loved Fiddler on the Roof!

Well, I 'd have to say 42nd Street because my Mom and Dad took me when I was sooooooo young. Loved it! It was my 1st Broadway play.
BUT.... Les Miserables when, I can't think of her name!.... sings "On My Own".... WOW.
I must say that I cried like a baby from beginning to end at the Lion King.
I get that whole musical weirdness from my Mom.... Thankk god.
It's all so powerful

OMG!!! It HAD to be The Lion King. My mom has seen it 3 times and she cried each time. So when she got me tix I told her I was not going to cry. UNFORTUNATELY, I couldnt control the emotions that came over me when the first note from "rahfiki" came out....I totally lost it. It was amazing!!!
