I DON'T WANT TO BE AT WORK!!!!!!!!! :-(

i'm a speech therapist at a school... ugh!! the kids are BRATS today!! i only have 2 or 3 at a time, but man!!! they're just not listening, whining when i call them out on trying to cheat at the game, walking around the speech area... AND every time i think i have my schedule set, the school adds more new kids to my caseload or a teacher comes to me asking me to change a students speech time because of one reason of another.... i just can't take it!!!! i love kids... but working with them on a daily basis is already wearing on me!!! at least when i have my own kids, i'll be able to yell at them.....

Awe, Im sorry your having a bad day at work, but I am still trying to find a school social work position... and I feel like its never going to happen!!!!

What school do you work at? I am an occupational therapist in the school districts.

i live in morris county, nj... so i work at a school there.... i used to work at one down in South jersey that was for all special needs kids that was sooo much more laid back, less paper work, the special needs kids were MUCH nicer, there were 10 speech therapists, so there was a ton of support.....it was my dream job. but, i fell in love and had to move up here and leave it
