Halloween LI GTG Sat 10/29 - LAST CALL

There will be a GTG at my house for Halloween. We'll have prizes for best costume and such, and of course FH's are invited as well!!

I'm in Western Suffolk, by the Northern State in Smithtown/Commack/Hauppauge. About halfway between the Watermill & the Huntington Townhouse!

I would set the date for Saturday, Oct. 29th. It would start at 7pm, thus to make it easy for those getting out of work late!

I included a map of the area I'm in (the star is not my address!)

I am making 5 cheese baked ziti and pumpkin dessert dip with ginger snaps and vanilla wafers.

Coming:
MayBride06 - spinach & artichoke dip

Yes, except West Islip is on the south shore, and we're on the north shore, so West Islip is just a few miles south of us.

And where's my Smithtown girls?? I know there's quite a few on here!!

Janna--you have a cat, right? I'm very severely allergic but I want to come. Well, maybe since you live so close I can just go home when I stop breathing!! Uggh!!!!

Unfortunately, that's just too far for us BK kids.

And Kerie, the cat would be brought downstairs to the neighbors, otherwise she would be scared sh!tless!!! So I don't know if that helps, but of course I would clean everything immensely before everyone would come!!

FH's are invited....even though mine will not be in costume, he is still b!tching about me putting him in one last year for the parade!!

West Islip is 10 miles away, tops, so you figure, about 10-15 mins north.

Well, let me think about this. I usually find that even when people scrub and clean and vacuum everything, I still get sick and then I feel guilty that they did all that, or I feel like they will take my getting sick as a sign they they didn't do enough to prepare. If it is a nice night and we were to sit outside, I'd be there (and if I am allergic to anything out there, tough crap on me). Oh, how I hate this! I know I would have so much fun at this party. The worst part is that once the allergy starts, it lingers for a few days. Is there any chance you will go out in the area, like for an after party type of thing?

If I knew for sure that we werent going to celebrate FH's b'day that day, I'd commit. I think in about a week or so I will reach out to his parents to find out. Then Ill know. What time are you looking to start?

Probably won't start until around 4 or 5pm at the earliest.

We could always go to a bar or something afterwards, or hang out outside by the pool if the weather is warm enough!!!
