We danced to half of our first song alone, then the DJ switched into another song and invited everyone to join us. This way we got to dance alone to our song and didn't make everyone wait and watch, but then everyone else got to dance to a whole song and not the very end of one.

We danced it by ourselves and that's how we wanted it. We had a separate song for the BP and guests to dance to.

We danced the entire song alone because I thought we'd need the time for the photogs to get enough pictures but if I had to do it again, I think it was longer than we needed (and looks kinda boring on the video).

We are dancing all alone for the duration of the song (which is yet to be determined). Like I have said before, I waited a LONG time for this moment and we deserve it. As for the video being boring, thats what editing is for. Save the long dance for the rough cut and shorten it for the video you give/show to everyone else.

Our BP and family joined us. I kind of wish we could have danced to the entire song alone. It was so romantic!

But then again, ours was a long song, so I guess that is why the dj asked everyone to join in.

It'll depend. We aren't the best dancers and I don't love the spotlight.

If we get lessons-we may dance the whole thing.

If not, others will join in.

We are having a lot of trouble picking a song tho!

Anyone have recs on places for lessons? How many sessions do you think are needed and what's the aprox $$?

We are taking lessons, and considering having it choreographed. Either way, entire song, just the two of us. He hates to dance and it will be the one and only time he gets on the dance floor so I'm not sharing with anybody.
