Our Wedding....Our Way!!! VENT!

I'm so fed up with FH's family! He is on the phone with his Sister right now going over BS requests she and his Mother have!
We have told them details of our wedding since we've been engaged and booked our vendors...Now...a few weeks before the wedding they want to change things around to accomodate them! WE are paying for our wedding 100% and want to enjoy EVERY moment possible! For us to do that we have to start taking pictures at 8:30 a.m. They've known this..NOW they want us to change things around by doing them later or this was my favorite...having FH stay at the apt and they take pics here??? ***!!! I'm staying at the apt with my Grandmother. It's our special time together. Then makeup and hair people will come here. FSIL wants me to stay at the hotel, so it would be more convenient for them!!!

I don't even know if this makes sense right now I'm so upset I cannot even put my thoughts together right! AARRRRRR!!!!

Agreed

It's your day, your way.... I went thru the same things with my MIL, father, and gma on certain issues and I refused to give in. I was not going to look back in 10 days, 5 years or 50 years and say I should have done it the way I WANTED!!!

Tell them plans have been made and there is no changing them.

Just ignore them. Do things your way - sometimes people dont realize what they are asking is going to make your life difficult

I completely agree with you especially at this stage in the game. It's your wedding and the decisions have been made. They need to understand that everything has to suit your needs and not theirs. Don't back down!! Good luck with everything!!!
