Re: OOT guest gift bags/boxes

we included a welcome note, a bottle of water, two bags of chips, two packages of cookies, two packs of granola bars and some gummy fruit candies.

We purchased everything in Costco. We are putting maps and tourist guides in the bags too!

Re: OOT guest gift bags/boxes

I am going to do this and wanted to include some touristy things that I could include. Does anyone know where or who I can contact about receiving litereature on Manhatten and Long Island?

I think I may also include in the boxes Post cards, hand sanitizer and a box of Godiva chocolate.

Re: OOT guest gift bags/boxes

FYI there is a brewery in Patchogue:

Blue Point Brewery

Might be cute to put a bottle of beer in the gift bag/box.

Any other traditionally LI food items?

Re: OOT guest gift bags/boxes

Do you think it would look cheap to use plain solid color bags and have our logo (initals & Date) Printed on lables like a DIY and put them on bags?

Re: OOT guest gift bags/boxes

I got white glossy bags from nashville wraps and i'm making labels to stick on them at home. I'm also tying them with ribbon that matches the BM dresses.
we're getting married in villanova, pa so everyone is from out of town!

Inside
notecard from me and fh with the church printed on it (villanova)
water (2 bottles)
gum or listerine breath strips
chap stick (it's the winter)
chips
candy
tums
advil

I'm also including
brochure I made with things to do in the area, information on the schedule of events, a map, and information on the brunch the next day.

* I just got magazines from the Philadelphia visitors bureau! It's really neat!

That is exactly what I'm using! I got glossy bags though, but they're really just white lunch bags.

Re: OOT guest gift bags/boxes

Has anyone seen any boxes that would work well for an OOT box. I'm thinking one that has a handle of some sort...

I just don't know where to find it.

Thanks.

I think you mean a gable box - if you search the phrase on LIW, you will come up with a bunch of info including a bride who I think has 50 or so extra. I've split an order with another bride to get a better price as well...
