I saw a co-worker wedding video...
And instead of going around to everyone, she had them all stand in a circle and they played 'thats what friends are for' and she thanked them all for coming, what do you think of that?

Re: I saw a co-worker wedding video...
I think that the couple should try to thank everyone personally. If you had a party at your house, you would thank everyone for coming, I think that same respect should be given at a wedding... JMHO

I like the song, but I would go to the people while they're sitting and thank them there.

I don't think it's a bad idea, but its the same as going around to every table...that's why we're going to the cocktail hr so we can say hit to everyone w/out missing any of the reception!

corny. That's just as bad as blowing bubbbles while they dance their first song. She must have not been from NY.
People in other states do different things. I really shouldn't say anything bad about it like corny or cheesy. It's just different and something we aren't used to.
