I saw a co-worker wedding video...

I saw a co-worker wedding video...

And instead of going around to everyone, she had them all stand in a circle and they played 'thats what friends are for' and she thanked them all for coming, what do you think of that?

I think that the couple should try to thank everyone personally. If you had a party at your house, you would thank everyone for coming, I think that same respect should be given at a wedding... JMHO

i wouldnt do it...i did it at my sweet 16

it is totally a good ida but i dont think for a wedding

A recent wedidng i went to had the bride/groom and family have their recieving line as everyone walked in....gave them time to talk to everyone and have their 'talking/thankyou time' there and then they partied with everyone the rest of the night

I don't think it's a bad idea, but its the same as going around to every table...that's why we're going to the cocktail hr so we can say hit to everyone w/out missing any of the reception!

corny. That's just as bad as blowing bubbbles while they dance their first song. She must have not been from NY.

People in other states do different things. I really shouldn't say anything bad about it like corny or cheesy. It's just different and something we aren't used to.
