My First Post
I just got engaged last weekend and I am so excited to start planning. I went to the expo at the Coliseum yesterday and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. There were not that many vendors. Westbury Manor's booth, however was awesome. It was the standout hit of the event. The staff told me they are having a show on the 18th. Can anyone go?

I hav enot been to any bridal expos other than the one at Fortunoff's, which is pretty good, you get free wedding mags and there are good prizes. and the expo is free.

Consider attending the Wedding of the Year- its run by LIWeddings and we all have a great time. Its a simulated wedding with real vendors and food - as if you were attending someones wedding.

I believe the showcase at the WM is for WM brides & grooms only, but give them a call. They're so helpful there.

i think WM's event is for current WM brides and grooms and by invitation only. but it doesn't hurt to call and ask! unfortunately i can't go because i have class that night.

Congratulations on your engagement. I just posted for the first time the other day! I am getting married at Westbury Manor and going on the 18th. It is for WM brides, but maybe call and tell them that you are interested in their facility....it might not hurt to ask!
