Do not have out of town guests/family at your home! Take it from me. It was difficult. If you do have to have OOTers at your place, then make them leave 2 nights before. I sound mean, don't I? Seriously, you need to rest and be your best on your wedding day and a house full of people is hard no matter how you look at it!

Re: Ways to De-stress the week before your wedding?

As a recent bride I can tell you that even though I took a whole WEEK off of work before the wedding, I was still up almost every night til 3am doing stuff for the wedding and spending all day running around doing wedding stuff. It was crazy!

So, I recommend taking as much time off from work before the wedding as you can to get your final projects done. Part of the problem for me was that the weekend before my wedding, I didn't get any projects done because it was my "bachelorette party" (the air quotes really are appropriate) and the next day I had to pick up my mom from the airport. I think a week off is definitely enough time, but make sure to make an appointment for a massage! It will force you to go and have some fun. Oh, and definitely a glass (or more!) of wine!

Re: Ways to De-stress the week before your wedding?

I was sickthe week before our wedding sooo not stressed since I felt like crap...made lists and took care of the few things left (not much since I did a ton ahead of time), spent a lot of time trying to relax, being with family.
