Re: where did you purchase your oot bags/boxes?

I don't have a picture yet, but I got mine at Michael's yesterday...they are the Tiffany/robin's egg blue with white handles. On sale: 4 for $1. I'm going to add a snowflake label and a cute hang-tag.

I am using these too...if you want I have about 50 left over if you want them from me. I had to buy a box of 100 & didn't use them all.

Thanks for the offer. I actually placed the order for the 100 last week, and I'm splitting it with another Bride.

I don't even think I'll end up using the 50!

Okay, so I'm a complete wedding newbie (to the board and the whole wedding planning thing), so pardon my ignorance.

When do you give the OOT baskets to the OOT guests?

they are usually waiting for your guests at the hotel for when they check in. The hotel will give them out to your guests :D

Okay, now that I've learned that, next question is what would you put in them? I was planning on giving mine out at the end of the reception because (and this is my reasoning), a lot of people will probably get in at all odd hours but most will probably leave on Sunday sometime (I was planning to put bagel, cream cheese and a small bottle of juice - yeah not very creative) and so would need bkfast food more. Would this be like a wedding no-no...giving them out at the end of the reception and I've always wondered what to tell the in-towners??!!!

Your idea of breakfast is a great one!

If you give them at the end of the reception, then they are more like favors and I would give one to everyone.

The OOT bags are really only for the people staying at the hotel as an extra goody bag of stuff.

In our coolers we are leaving snacks and drinks and tylenol and direction cards and a thank you note.

ebay: (but you can buy gable boxes at a ton of places online)

These look great!

My PA based BM put her OOT items in little clear bags and had a message from the couple and her mom (the OOT guests were all her mom's side-parent's divorced)

She put in the M&M's in her wedding colors (which were her favors for all guests in small round tins), rasin & peanut mix, pretzels and a few truffles.

It was a nice touch.

Where did you get the lables and the tag? All EBay?
