Have to change my BM dress by Wed! Help! (a little long)

I was just told that the 2 dresses I had for my MOH didn't come in the color I wanted so now I have to change it. They held the whole order for me in case I decided to change the other BM due to this. So now, should I just change the 2 MOH or both?

I seriously thought about changing the dresses b/c the girls would be more comfortable in something they could wear normal bras with (one MOH keeps complaining b/c she's small with a big bust and her size isn't made in a strapless!) BUT I like the satin look.

The first dress is for the other BM as of now
Note, the black ribbon will be Ivory.

The one below is my idea for the 2 MOH if I keep this look.

Here are my ideas if I change to dresses I know the girls would be more comfortable in and I like them too, I'm just not sure if I like it as much...

First one for the 2 MOH and the second for the other girls.

Re: Have to change my BM dress by Wed! Help! (a little long)

Final options, the regular bridesmaids tried on and liked the bottom one, it just looks a little too much like a Greek inspired dress (not that I don't like that, but I don't know about it for my wedding).

Again, first for MOH ... I think you got it!

Thanks for any input!

I like your originals. Your MOH should understand that you have a certain look for your special day. Also, as for the big chest part, they will order a dress that will fit her size and alter the rest. I had to do that for my dress and there are plenty of really good bras to hold those babies up! Go with what makes you happy! It is YOUR day... that means YOUR way!

Re: Have to change my BM dress by Wed! Help! (a little long)

I agree, esp since I wore a horrible fitting dress for her wedding. (it apparently looked good but was bursting open on the side).

She's a 32 D, and my other BM think she's being a baby (she's also too cheep to buy a good strapless bra)

Now my other MOH says to go with the satin!

Re: Have to change my BM dress by Wed! Help! (a little long)

1. Get her measured and properly fit for a bra. 32Ds are rare. Is she SUPER skinny with a BIG chest? Then it's possible. I can't tell you, however, how many women I had to measure for bras in my lifetime (retail job) who came in telling me they were 36Cs and the measuring tape said 44B. Most women don't know what size they really should be, and it's important to know.

2. I like that last dress best.

3. If you want to play nice, since she's your MOH and can be different from the rest anyway, go out and look at dresses with her, so she can pick out something she's comfortable in. You get final veto, of course.

Re: Have to change my BM dress by Wed! Help! (a little long)

i had BMs that did not want strapless either - so mine were v-neck - not the best for bras but the girls were happy and it showed in the pictures

it is important to have the girls feel comfortable, at aa friends wedding none of the girls like there dress and it is hard to smile lots when you are very self conscious

with that said - i like the last 2 - i think they would look good on most body types

good luck

1. She was just re-measured recently and yes, she's tiny with a large natural chest- it was easier to fit her before she lost weight back in HS! She tends to squish into a 34C...I dunno.

2. The last ones are nice but I now think that for a BM they aren't dressy enough. A few girls agree, even the ones that like that dress.

3. She's one of 2 MOH and it'll look weird to have 2 diff dresses for them and a 3rd for the other girls. I don't think it'd look too weird to have straps added (it comes with spaghetti straps) just for her so she can wear a regular bra.

My other MOH looked great in the first one and right now that's what we're going with. We're going back to the salon tonight-we'll see if she hates it. I hated what I wore for her wedding!!

We'll see what happens!

Re: Have to change my BM dress by Wed! Help! (a little long)

Well, the other MOH looked great in the dress and didn't realize that there is boning to support the dress so I'm trying to convince her to have cups added to the dress and use the spaghetti straps that come with it (tho she might not even need those!) I actually like the way this dress looks better than the first one I picked! YAY!

Thanks for your help!
