Re: Mothers Day weekend

Before I prosponed my wedding, it was on Mother's Day last year, we planned to present both Mom's and grandma with small BQ's, but then I thought what about all the other Mom's in attendance, so we thought of handing out a single rose to each Mom as they entered the church.

We also were going to add a special blessing during the ceremony for Mother's day.

I am a MAy 07 bride.. and I am getting married the day b4 MD's as well.

I was also going to hand out rose to all the mother's but have really though it through yet.

I was thinking of putting a basket by the door with the rose and saying HAppy mother's day and please take one or something like that.... we'll see.

Re: Mothers Day weekend

A mother's day brunch is nice, its a very good idea. In this way it will only be the people that stayed at the hotel and not include all of your invtied guests at the reception if you do something there. I will save you money this way.
