What to do with my toodler on a cold and rainy day????

It's wet & chilly out today, but I'd like to get Aidan out of the house after his nap. Do any of you ladies have any suggestions about what we can do today?? I live in Long Island NY if that helps. I have brain fry today and just can't think of anything.I just know I don't want us sittin g around the house all day while he screams for Baby Einstien!!! CABIN FEVER!!!!

Are there any children's museums around where you are? Those are always fun on a rainy day.

I can't take him to the li childrens museum for another year or so. I took himwhen he was very young (like 4 months old) and he loved looking at everything. Then I took him again when he was 15 months and that was not a good idea. He's at that in between stage, where he wants to run around and do everything and touch everything, but he doesn't understand the rules yet. So he just gets frustrated when he see's the other kids doing things that he can't. So I'm waiting until he's 2 1/2 or 3 to take him back so he can do everything.

Take him to the mall and ride the carousel, walk around and maybe get a pretzel.

Play with clay, color, blocks.

GO TO FUN ZONE OR AVENTURE LAND THEY MIGHT BE STILL OPEN AND PLAY SOME GAMES.

I usually take my daughter to Chuckie Cheese she loves it there or Boomers. They have a lot of indoor games and stuff.
