Met with a flower vendor today

Laurie from LA Blossom. She is great. She knew exactly what I was looking for and gave me such great ideas. She is also the sweetest person. She met me half way from my school and we talked for over two and a half hours. Her work is beautiful. I know if I book her I would have nothing to worry about. I am waiting for her to send me a price quote. I have appointmens tomorrow to see John from Flower Michelle and then Signature Florists. Hopefully by tomorrow night I will know who I am using for flowers.

Congrats,

IMO shopping for flowers is the hardest thing to do. You are definitley seeing great people though. Laurie is greatand she does amazing work. Your also gonna love John he is awesome and his work is beautiful, amazing, outstanding. Can ya tell he impressed me. Well good luck with your search. Keep us updated!!!!

I met with Flower Michele & Signature over the weekend. I got tremendously different price quotes from them for exactly the same flowers.

ETA: I'm meeting with Laurie tomorrow.

I love Signature Florist. George gave me the best quote by far than all of the other florists I went to. He was also so nice and has amazing quality flowers. All 3 of the ones you posted have gotten good reviews.

I totally agree...that was my hardest decision! You can not go wrong with either- that is for sure.

Unfortunately Laurie was booked for my day:( However since then I met with Signature, National Floral Wholesalers, Flower Michelle, Flower Petalers and Laura's in East Northport. I have my last florist appointment at Masters and Co in Rockville Center tonight.

National Floral and Signature were within $3 dollars of each other - everyone else was at least $700 more for similar flowers. It all depends on quality and what you are looking for and they type of customer service you want.

George at Signature is doing a sample of my centerpiece for the bridal show at the Marriot in Uniondale next Tuesday - If I like it I'm going to book him. He had great ideas and suggestions and I could put the extra money someplace else!

I'll post pic's when I get them!
