Re: Bouquet with 5 dozen roses

most bk have about that, if not 3-5 dozen. When you put them close together, a dozen looks small. I'm not having any green in between them, just rose next to rose.

Re: Bouquet with 5 dozen roses

I have seen bo-k's with 4 dozen roses and IMO, it was waaay to much!

it also depends how your florist puts them together..closer together the nicer the bo-k looks...I would think 3-3 1/2 tops would be a good amount..

ETA: my CP are 5 dozen roses each,,I couldnt imagine carrying around my CP..
haha just kidding

Re: Bouquet with 5 dozen roses

I think it's heavy, Amy (NYBride) had something like that (maybe heavier) and it looked HUGE, I would ask her how it felt.

Re: Bouquet with 5 dozen roses

I have also been told if your wedding dress is very detailed, a huge bouquet takes away from your dress. The typical rose bouquet I have seen is between 28-36 roses.

yes, I have felt it, and its cascading, so its already pretty big. I know its what I've always wanted and loved.

That is way too big for my taste, the flowers cover up most of the dress. The first thing people will notice is the bo-k and not you in your beautiful dress. You know what I mean, especially for a short person like me.

I agree, that's way too big. But I think it all depends on your tastes and style. I think anywhere between 2-4 dozen is more than enough. When I went to book mine, the lady before us ordered a BK that weighs 45 pounds because it cascades. After five minutes I'd be ready to chuck it.

Re: Bouquet with 5 dozen roses

I don't remember exactly how many dozen roses I had, but I will tell you it was very heavy. I would say probably about 4 dozen and if I could recommend it to anyone, do not get that many. My hand was killing me.

Re: Bouquet with 5 dozen roses

I had 4 dozen, it wasnt heavy and I think it went great with my dress b/c it was a big ballgown. My only concern was could I get my hand around the stems. I could, but Im not sure about 5 dozen. Bridesmaids were 2 dozen, not sure about the kissing ball.

Re: Bouquet with 5 dozen roses

i think it is waaay to much, you dont want to hide yourself behind flowers. mine is 24 clutch rose bouquet. not as heavy and is very elegant.
