I just had the most traumazing cooking experience!

OH MY GOD! I have never cooked a whole chicken before and it was the most vile thing I have ever seen. I felt like I was going to puke! It smelled and felt like a dead body (well i guess thats because it really is!) and it didn't have the little bag with all the guts in it, so I would have had to put my hand in there and take them out myself! I called my husband crying! I'm such a wimp. I just couldn't do it! So I wrapped it back up and we're having pasta

instead. DH will de-gut it when he comes home and i'll atempt to cook it tomorrow! Are there any other newlyweds out there who are also learning to cook!??!!

ps...i'm NEVER having thanksgiving at my house

Aw don't feel bad I'm the same way and I would have done the same thing! I cannot touch chicken even just something about it grosses me out. I also can't watch it being prepared or else I can't eat it. So poor DH does most of the cooking

Thats so gross! I will never forget when I wanted to surprise DH with loster. I went there and they handed me a bag of live lobsters. I was like...You want me to cook these? I gave them back the bag and said No thank you. I guess some people have the guts to do it.
