Question..Is there someone your FI wants to invite to the wedding that YOU CANNOT STAND!!??
My FI insists on inviting this guy who I HATE..My FI doesn;t really even consider him a friend he is just someone he knows through someone else and my FI hangs out with him from time to time. We have fought over this many many times! I do not want him at the wedding! I refuse to compromise on this.Anyone have a similiar situation???

I have not had that situation. I would think that if it is someone that your FH is NOT close to and you feel strongly about him not being there, then your FH should understand. I could see if it was one of his good friends but if it is just an acquaintance (sp) then your FH should respect your wishes. Good luck !!

The BM brother!!! He got drunk at my FI's 30th b-day party and he tried to dance with my 14 year old niece. I had the only FIT!!!! I told FI I didn't want him at the wedding, but he said that if he talked to him about his behavior would I let him come. So I agreed. ONLY if he spoke to him about getting drunk and acting like a fool!!It's a very hard situation to handle. Good luck!!!

Well unfotunetely he doesn't! He insists on inviting this loser..He in fact has already told him that he is invited!
I feel that my day will be ruined because of this

there are a few people that i dont think we should invite and he is making a big deal out of it .......there invitation might get lost in the mail

Yes. This girl that FH dated for a little while. They are just friends. But i dont really like her. She called me something i didnt like when i first met her. Anyway, it doesnt really matter b/c i get to rub my beautiful dress in her face anyway. I might just forget to send her the invite.

One of our GM is dating this friggin trick from LI (no offense to you LI girls but she is just a true bimbo) and he will most likely bring her along...I hope they're not together by the time our wedding rolls up.

Well I basically told him that already and he said that isn't fair. I also told him that since my mother is paying for the reception that she will not pay for his side of the family if this loser is invited

Kath, only you can let him ruin your day. if he acts up, have your brothers or your dad bounce his a$$ out at the first sign...but other than that, don't even let him be a bleep on your screen and concetrate on those you WANT to be there.

Oh yeah. My FH cousin and her mother. They have something against me from the getcko. Last time I saw them they told me I wear cheap Tiffany jewelery. And anybody who is anybody comes from Manhasset, not Massapequa where i'm from. There invites are so lost.

There is this one couple, friends of my mother's that I do not particularly care for AT ALL. I thought they were very nice until we all went to Las Vegas together (them, me & Mom). If there was any way not to invite them I would, but no such luck. I am seating them as far away from me as possible. I am also NOT doing the anniversary dance for my bo-k because they would most certainly 'win' it.My mother has been friends with them for 20 years. They travel together, go out to dinner, movies etc all the time. And she (the wife) is just so excited
I am getting married and can't wait.
