Japanese Hair Straightening!! I did it!!! With PICS!!

I finally had it done today and it was amazing. I simply cannot believe how amazing my hair looks! I cannot wash it for a few days, but I must tell you it only took them 10 minutes to blow dry it after it was done and it was silky straight!! Usually takes about 45 min to blowdry and then another 20 with a straight iron! I will post before and after pictures later!!! for any of you who had reservations, just do it!!! The first is before and the second is after!!

I'm definitely interested in seeing pics. I've been thinking about doing this as my hair is very frizzy. Does it help with frizz or just waves?

Eddie D's Salon in Centereach!! Ask for Robbie! The $ various dependent on many things including length and thickness and texture of curl. Mine was more expensive b/c I have more hair than 5 people and it is reallu thick and curly! About $500. I was quoted less at some asian salons in the city but that meant traveling into the city and I rather pay extra for the convenience.

Wow, such a difference from curly to super straight. Looks great. This will have to be a post-wedding consideration for me.

After you do in, can your hair hold a curl? (like if done w/ an iron, for my wedding i want to have lose curls)

It looks great. I just got mine done in August and let me tell you its great. I dont have pics but I hardly even dry it and its straight. In the morning i just blow it for about three minutes just to get the excess water off and leave it and go. I just love it. Mine cost 260 at Hayato in the city. And i have long thick curly hair. Great place and great price!!!!!

Welcome to the Club! I've been doing it for three years now and absolutely love it!

It came out great!

Just one pointer - try not to push your hair behind your ears b/c you will get a dent in it. Same goes for putting it back or anything like that!
