What do you think about this favor? w/poll -edited to fix pic

Hi everyone! My mom is throwing me a surprise shower, however I came across this favor and thought is was cute. She is open to my suggestions, as long as I am not too involved!

I thought it would be practical, the only thing is it is only 3.5 inches high. Isn't that tooo small?? Do you think it is cheezy? (no pun intended ) The label is small...but it says a 'grate' love.

For a shower, I think it is cute. Those were actually the favor at the Wedding of the Year in January and I liked them but thought they would be too cheesy for an actual wedding.

i guess i have to see them in person..i just can't understand how they are operable at 3.5 inches high. how did they look in person?

yes, i think its cute and completly non-practical - what a shower favor should be. but maybe keep looking, i think a coffee or ice cream scoop would be a little better

It's not meant for big jobs. I've used it on cheese and to jest an orange and things like that. To be honest, my sister has an even smaller one that is a magnet for her fridge and she uses it on food. Like I said it's cute, but if you are not satisfied, keep looking. There are plenty of cute favors out there.

i agree - its different and people will remember that. i would love it - i wouldn't use it as a kitchen utensil, more as a decoration. but you know how some people get about favors???

It's cute! It can be used to grate nutmeg!! I use mine for nutmeg when I bake things or make oatmeal!

Sorry i thought when you said 'but you know how some people get about favors??? ' you meant it may look cheap. I honestly am not set on them...it was just something i came across today and wanted to get a consensus from the boards. Thanks again for your feedback.

You need to see it in person. They are very small.., not for cheese. Someone suggested cinnamon/ nutmeg.
