Re: Dance Lessons
I am not sure how much you are willing to spend.... I know that there are a lot of places, but most of them cost an arm and a leg. One of my friends told me about dance classes through the town of hempstead, and they are like 12 classes for you and your FH for only $45. That is $45 for the couple. She said they were really fun and they really teach you how to dance. Me and my FH are starting them in January. To register, go to the town of hempstead website.

Re: Dance Lessons
MY FH and I have been taking classes from Arthur Murray... I must admit we have spent a lot more on this then we planned.. we started about 5 months ago..but we really have been having lots of fun and learning more then just a dance for our first dance... we have learned some hustle, swing , salsa and tango too... it has been our weekly date night!Allyson

Re: Dance Lessons
Hi, Ok, the phone # for Town of Hempstead Department of parks and recreation is (516)292-9000. I was wrong about the price, and the # of classes. It is $47.5 per person. And it is more than 12 classes. But that is still cheaper than most from what I heard. The registration is at the end of January and classes begin in Feb. I also asked them if they could start a class specifically for engaged couples learning to dance for their weddings. They told me they are definately thinking about it but they are not sure if people will go. So if anyone else wants to call and ask them, it might work out for us. Either way, you can call them to ask for more info.
