You do not have to disclose the amount to your guests, rather say, you made a dontaton in their name. I would do maybe 10 dollars a couple? or is that terrible?

we just took what our favor budget was and donated that amount... it ended up being about $3 per person... so about $350.

Our donation was $2500, so about $17 per guest- but we didn't disclose the amount that we donated to our guests- I don't think it's necessary to do so.

We did $5 per person. You don't need to tell your guests the exact amount.

I am going to donate $500

I like the idea to donate more on your anniversery

mine is like 2.50 per guest- which is what I would have spent on favors

i gave favors already
but in addition i am donating $1 per person (so $200) towards the PKD foundation since a friend of mine has PKD

we donated what we have originally budgeted for favors (it was not a large amount) and we figured that we would donate each year on our anniversary as much as we could afford to give

That's exactly what we did and we also figured we would donate every year on our anniversary!

Wow some of you are giving much more than i was planning on...

I am giving another favor along with the donation, but i too was going to take the remainder and give it as a dontation.
