Re: Personalized Aisle Runners

my goodness, what is with you girls tonight? i've never heard of these, and now there are two threads going on it!

but seriously, like I told JessicaM., what are you going to do with it afterwards, roll it out down your staircase? not much of an after-use, especially for the price!

Re: Personalized Aisle Runners

Go to the DIY thread. There are explicit and easy directions on how to make your own.

Re: Personalized Aisle Runners

05er crashing here...

It's really not that difficult to do AND BEST part...it cost us a total of $5 to make where if we bought it...it would have been hundreds!

We were given an aisle runner by FH's Mom. She lived in an apt owned by a limo driver.
The aisle runner is one of those lace ones so you can see thru. We printed out the font we liked, placed it behind the aisle runner and traced it. Then painted it... real real real easy.

Here's some pics....

I hear you but with so many other wedding items what do you really need them for after that day including your wedding gown which probably costs more than any aisle runner...it's just the sentimental value. This is the one time in many girls' lives that they get to live out fantasy so allow us!!!

Re: Personalized Aisle Runners

I think this is a matter of preference. If it is something that you really want then go for it. You won't care if it is in a box for the rest of your life, or you can do what Hollie said about the frame. However, if you are on a budget this might be something that you forgo(sp). It all depends on what YOU want. I am envious of the personalized runners, or any runners-my church does not allow one
