Hair and Makeup Trial w/ Pic's

O.k. girls. I had a hair and makeup trial on Friday. I'd like your honest opinions.

I want to change several things on the hair and makeup.

1) Hair - It needs to be up higher on my head and rounded. I want the front to be smoother and flatter. I want the curls to be more sculpted.

2) Makeup - I need more blush. I want matte eyeshadow. She didn't curl my eyelashes or pencil my eyebrows which I would definitely do. **After two hours I'm shiny (Is that normal?) She uses makeup with minerals not oil so this should contain the shine.

Given all of this do you think I should book?

Part of me says that they are highly recommended vendors and I'm sure the day of I will love it. The other part of me says that I paid all this money for a trial and it should have been more of what I wanted - particularly the hair. Thoughts??

I love the makeup! I dont now what the shine is about...are you normally shiny?

The hair I would make it more symmetrical in the front looking at it, but I love the back.

i like the make-up.. i like the back of your hair as it is...and i agree with you that the front top should be smoother.

wow, you've got a lot of hair! the makeup looks great in the first few pics, dont know where all the shine came from. if you're not 100% comfortable w/ it, then i say get another trial w/ other vendors and then see how you feel.

I love the back, but I agree the front needs to be smoothed out. Did you ever consider bangs swept to the side? Who did you use for the hair?

I really like the makeup at first, but if it's going to shine like that as the day progesses then, no go with someone else. I like the hair too.

I think it all looks great, but if you're not satisfied, book another trial with someone else. I may do two myself!

To respond, I'm not normally so shiny for some reason it's only when I wear makeup.

I don't really have that much hair I have a piece on in the back which I highly recommend. I got it from Tri County for $25. Worth every penny.

I was happy and I will be very happy the day of if they make the changes I suggested above. Do you think I should call them and ask for another trial or is that crazy?

The hair was Bridget Rock and makeup was Jillian from Gorgeous Faces.

Yeah.... that shine makes me think twice. I think you don't need the extra hair.... can she do it with out to see what it looks like?
