i used to work by grand central and there was always a guy on the south side of lex across from the entrance to gc station....somewhere between 44-42 street. not sure if he is still there, but i would check, since it is not too far from where u are.

Are you talking about getting a real one or one of those from the street vendors?

I have a few real ones that I've received as gifts (usually $90+) but I have PLENTY of the 'cheap' 'fake' ones from the street vendors - they do the job and they have a lot of colors...keeps me warm!

There's a street guy on 50th and Madison (North West side of the street) - i go to him all the time....$5

on 60th and lexington, Dylan candy is on that corner, I got a gorgeuous pashmina for 5 bucks

That's where I work - I haven't seen him yet but now that you mentioned this, I'm going to keep an eye out.

There is also a guy on 45th and 6th Avenue... I got all my B-Maids pashminas from him for $5...
