DMV name change question

Hi!
I am new to the newlywed boards.

I tried to change my name on my license at the DMV and they said I had to change my name on my car registration as well which looks really complicated. Have you all encountered this when trying to change your name? What should I do?

When I went to the DMV, I changed my registration, liscense, and car title at the same time...i think you just need to bring your registration with you. i think you fill out one form for both.

I don't know how that works, I've never leased. I would assume you don't need the title, since wherever you are leasing from owns the car.
