crease mark on invitations?? vent...

URGH!

Im so aggravated right now... i orderd my invites online and they just came in the mail today!! i was so excited... but when i opened them, i noticed a crease mark along the left side of the invite... so i called the company... and they said this is called a 'gripper mark' and is from where the printer holds it as it goes through the printer.... and it is on all invites, and depending on the type of paper it is more predominate on some invites over others...

well i tell her this was not on the sample and i am not too happy with this, she says that is because the sample is not printed, so i explain then how come out of all of the printed invite samples i have received they didnt have them... so anyway, she is having me mail 10 back to see if they are extra bad, but if they say there is nothing i can do about it, then i am stuck, because you cant return printed materials!

I feel like that if this is something that happens to all of their invites, they need to either mail printed samples, and not blank ones, or at least give you a warning disclaimer...

Has anyone had 'gripper marks' on their invites???

Double check their return poilicy on the website- i would not be happy at ALL

wow! that's terrible, I would be mad too

I ordered my invites online from now-and-forever.com and they didn't have any marks.

I would definitely ask for a refund and get them done somewhere else.

We ordered ours online - there was no crease. I would insist they reprint correctly.

I got my thank you notes and on 7 of them were the impressed word 'sommerset' so I called the woman I got them from, who in turn called the co. The co representative was not surprised and they are making me 7 new thank you notes. I am not paying anything for them. I had even said I would take a refund for the 7 misprints.

Itmakes sense-but at the same time they should let you know that this may happen when ordering invites. Isnt the whole point of ordering samples to make sure that you like what they look like and to keep from things like this happening? I would be very upset and would keep onthem until they fixed it!
