NWR: Need seamstress in Williston Park area

Hoping some of you girls can help me out here. I need a dress to be shortened by Saturday for my engagement party. Nothing like waiting till the last minute


I just moved into Williston Park, and am not that familiar with the area. Can anyone suggest a tailor or seamstress?

Im sure a local dry cleaner could do something like that for you. Try Tres Bon French Dry Cleaners on Willis Ave (right next to Bank of America) They have a tailor there.

ETA I just realized Tres Bon is in Albertson not Williston Pk..but still, its close by.

Ive only had things dry cleaned there - they do a great job by the way, DH loves them!

I have gotten stuff tailored at the cleaners in the Eckerds/North Fork Bank shopping center on Hillside Ave though, they do a good job.

If you want to go to Roosevelt Field Mall - there's a dry cleaner/ tailor in the basement that does a great job - and they're fast! (Ive been there too)

josephines on willis ave across from Ginos pizzeria...I think its called Josephines and something else--Ive gone ther plenty of times but always just call it josephines. Shes an older Italian lady who can do just about anything--not too expensive either.
