Repost from BHB Need help w/ centerpieces

Has any past bride, or bride to be used a centerpiece like this, or plans on using one like this? My problem is that I think while the candle starts to melt it will get messy around the rose petals. What do you think, or do you have any suggestions? Anyone please

Thanks

I am not sure if it helps, but-
Pillar candles melt inwards, so the wax wont pour out onto the bottom of the bowl and the petals.
Just don't use votives.
Very pretty, BTW- good luck!

She's right! And they're very pretty. Candles can be expensive depending where you buy, and you would need unscented. I know Wal-mart sells white candles that are supposed to have a scent but don't (someone used them at her wedding). So maybe the rest of their 'scented' candles are the same way, and you can get a color to match what you need!

Definitely try WalMart, and DEFINITELY go with unscented!!!

Round pillar candles are SOOOO popular, so if you have the time to shop around, they shouldn't be too expensive.
I am trying to find square, now- thats a problem.
