Photobooth?
Hi girls....is anyone having a photobooth at their reception or considering having one? We are considering it. We think our guests would really get a kick out of it. My only major concern is people being pre-occupied w/ getting photos taken and not paying attention to what's going on w/ the wedding (kind of in the same vein as having a cigar bar where people would be outside, etc.) Any thoughts? Btw...I got a quote from NYC Photobooths which are a vendor on here. Here's the link if anyone wants to check them out:

Re: Photobooth?
I think it's a cute idea. Only open it up once the reception is in full swing if you want everyone's attention for the earlier special dances...I can't spare the cash on this sort of side item but love the thought of it.

Re: Photobooth?
I absolutely love the idea, I think it's definitly a gift your guests will enjoy. Maybe open during CH only? Or close it during the announcement and dances during the reception?

Re: Photobooth?
Omg I Love this idea. If we had the extra $$ for it, we would do this. I think its a fun memento for people to take from your wedding, plus its an extra fun activity to keep people occupied.People will remember this from your wedding and talk about it afterwards I bet.

I didn't even think of closing it during the important things like dances, announcements, etc. That shouldn't be a problem at all since they have an attendant w/ the booth for the whole reception. Thanks for the idea!

Re: Photobooth?
It was out of my budget for my wedding but I seriously considered it. I don't think it would take too much attention way and its a great souvenir.

We are having a photobooth.I think it will be so much fun!
I am just debating if I should make something to cover the outside of it.
We got ours from AK Altman Entertainment.

I am dying to know as well. How long do you actually get the photobooth for?

Re: Photobooth?
You get it for all 5 hours, with unlimited photos and a technician to deal with changing the film, etc.All the quotes I've seen are between $1500 adn $2000.

Re: Photobooth?
We've been thinking of having a photobooth too. We would do this as our favors. I was thinking of maybe giving all of our guests some sort of frame that they could use for the pics so they can bring them home. Then all of our guests would have a pic from our wedding!
