Had a huge fire in my house

Tomorrow will be two weeks since it happened. Someone called me at work and told me that there was a fire in my house and that no one was home - they had to break the door down. I immediately panicked because I'm thinking if no one was home then my dog must have been trapped inside the house! Well, to make a long story short, when I got home, it turned out that my mother, father and uncle were all in the house at the time and all, including my dog, were able to get out safely. My uncle was hospitalized for smoke inhalation and 2nd degree burns but he is ok now. There is a lot of damage to the house and my computer was broken, it just got fixed today so I'm glad to be able to be back and post. Your prayers would be much appreciated for me and my family.

Yes, I am so grateful. If it would have started while we were sleeping it would have been a disaster. My parents wouldn't have been able to get out of the room.

I have been hearing of this more and more.... I think i am going to unplug mine from now on!!!!!
