stamp increase - confused!

Forgive me for being pretty confused but, is the rate increase for just 55 cent stamps to 57 cents? There are a few invitations I had held and wanted to send out this week. I just want to make sure I understand that I'll have to tag on an extra 2 cents for the outer envelope so it's $.57 but the inner response envelope is fine at .34? UGH..the post office really bugs me sometimes. :)

Yes you are correct. Its only the .55cent ones that went up. What they said is the one ounce items are staying the same but the rates for anything above the one ounce is changing. Regular mail is only one ounce. The post office is crazy! Bugs me too : )
