How long before you shop around for wedding dresses?

I am getting married in Feb 2007- when should I start looking?

i already have my dress...and i'm feb. 2007 too...but please keep in mind it takes anywhere from 4-8 months for a dress to come in if you have to order it and then another couple of months or so for fittings so don't wait too long

I think a year in advance should be plenty of time. January sounds like a good time for you like you said.

I'm going to start the end of May 06. I don't want to go to early because if new styles come out I want to be able to try them on also. I think the new lines come out in Jan
