First off, i can't type with these nails on so a full review will just have to wait. here are some pictures of my special day. These pictures are non-professional and I hope you enjoy them.

I have some trouble sometimes resizing so pics may not show up right away!!!

Let me just say that I was amazed at how beautiful all the flowers were for the wedding. I know that there has been alot of negetive talk about ************* Florist, but they truly honored all my requests and did a sensational job!! I just want to put in my two cents for all the brides that are in contract with them right now...I know that they were featured on the 'shame on you' segment about a month ago and I know that two or three people have terrified future brides on this site about continuing to use them, but please stick with your gut and go forward with it. My flowers were lush, full and ALIVE the entire night, many comments have been received on my bridesmaids bouquets and the vibrant colors that were used, all the bouts were in excellent condition by the end of the night - no issues what so ever! I also opted NOT to have a mock sample made up of my centerpiece and were very happy with the results when I saw the ballroom all arranged. I also did not have any problems getting in contact with the florist. When I called, I either received a live person or left a message and received a call back the same day. Overall, I would receommend ************* florist based on my experience with them. Jack himself was not there the day of the wedding to arrange the Chuppah, but as you can see from the picture posted, it came out amazing, amazing, amazing!!!!

Big hits entertainment:
AWESOME!! That is the best word that can describe them. I attended a wedding in april, 04 and they were hired for this affair. During the night I actually went up to the DJ booth and told them that they really have done a fabulous job and got their business card. I was not engaged at the time either. When it because my turn to hire a band, I opted for Big Hits entertainemnt DJ company. Not only did he honor my Do Not Play list, but had our guests dancing the entire night. We gave our MC WAYNE (so great!!!!) freedom to play songs that were not on our play list as well. This is what I would recommend all future brides to do as well. We told him that if you are playing a cetrtain type of music and the dancing floor is packed, to please continue to play that genre of songs. We received many compliments for our choice of music as well. I would say that if we submitted a song list of 50 songs to be played, Wayne probably played about 40. We love wayne and would recommend them to anyone for any affair!

THE DRESSEs (Bride and bridesmaids): B
Brideal Reflections of Carle Place:I originally found my dream dress at Flowerama in elmont. My sales woman Christine was very helpful , but did not want to purchase from them because I did not kinow their reputation so off the Bridal reflections we went. Not only did BF have my dress (A Marisa #601) they even matched flowerama's price and knocked $200.00 off! I also bought my slip and veil there. I went for two fittings and everything went smoothly. I do not have any issues with BR and the staff was friendly to me. ON THE OTHER HAND.....for my bridesmaids I had one very specific issue I would like to discuss. One of my best friends and bridesmaid receintly had a baby in july. She lives in NJ and travelled to Carle Place for her fittings. One fitting (her first) she had to bring her son with her. She knows that these places really do not encourage you to bring kids but there was nothing she could do about it. In the store my friend needs to change her baby and asks if there is a place she could do that. The sales woman said that she needs to take her baby outside to her car and change him there, IN THE RAIN!!! It was practically monsooning outside and the sales woman had the nerve to say this?? My friend said no she isn't doing that and if there is a bathroom she could use. The sales woman said that the bathroom is small and that there is not room the change a baby in there. My friend went to the bathroom anyway and she had no problems. It isn't like she was laying the baby on their carpet - she had a changing pad with her to lay the baby down on and couldn't the sales woman offer a changing room?? Isn't BR supposed to be a family owned establishement bla bla bla crap?? however, the bridesmaids dresses came out looking great. The were Jordan Couture Dress style 1809 in wine color. I was very happy with the color because originally I wanted a burnt orange color but that was not offered in the color palette. However, in the sunlight, the dress color had a beautiful two toned color affect which was nice!

CATERING HALL: A++++++++++
The woodmere Club: AMAZING!!!! My wonderful Husband is a golf course greenkeeper and we knew we wanted to get married at a facility that had a golf course. Every meeting we had with them, every time we toured the ceremony room and ballroom, nothing was set up for a wedding. This Club is a golf Club so each room was set up for regular dinning. You really had to visualize in your head what the rooms would look like for a wedding. When I came up from the bridal suite for the first time and peaked into the rooms, I just could not believe what an outstanding job they have done. The ballroom was gorgeous!! I really cannot express into words what I am trying to say because i do not think a word exists...I was just floored! the food was fabulous - I actually have several pictures that people gave to me of the shimp size alone - they were gigantic! Every type of cocktail food was served right down to the cavier! All of our guests were treated friendly by the staff at the woodmere club. Truthfully, if I was a guest at a wedding being held at the Woodmere club, I would have to say that it would be the best wedding I will ever atten in my life because their service is just that good!!

The Woodmere Club looks SO beautiful! Do you have to be a member to have a party there? Can you show us more pictures of the ballroom?
