Yes, We are also buying a house up in Orange County New York. We will probably be moving in before the BIG DAY. So much on my mind and plate. Any one else buying a house this year

FH & I just purchased our home in August 2005! It was truly stressful but we are so happy to have our house. We were doing the weekend thing for the past 2 months but FH moved in yesterday full time! I will be joining him Jan 1st!

ME! Honestly I am super excited about the wedding and the new house, but at the same time I am kept up at night stressing over how we are going to pay for it all (plus HM, furniture, food, gas, OMG don't get me started!)

I'm hoping we don't go to closing until April/May cause I need some more to save, but we could go to close as early as December! EEK!

we are currently house searching (with plans to finalize before the wedding) along with the wedding plans...

i hate it when fh reminds me whatever 'splurge/extra' i want wedding-wise will take away from how much we spend on a house...

we just bought a house 2 months ago. We moved in September 30th. We love it!!!! It is not easy paying mortgage and saving for the wedding at the same time but it is nice to be in a big house together........

can't wait for my shower, so I can get everything brand new!!!!!!

Yes, we are in process of buying a house right now. It is already pretty stressful planning a wedding and then pileling buying a house on top of it. FH and I are stressed beyond our limits. You just have to keep thinking that it is going to be all worth it in the end.

yup - we bought in april - settled in july - and moved in in sept. we put papers in to buy the house the same weekend we picked our date and venue!

It has been a lot and it has added extra stress/pressure, but it's worth it. I'm glad we did it before the wedding and not after. I love that we won't have any of this stuff to deal with after we become mr. & mrs. And, while it has been stressful in some ways, it has also been great in others!!!!!

omg, i was jsut thinking that i am under so much stress right now buying a house and planning a wedding. we are in the process of buying our first home together and trying to plan a wedding. i know it will be worth it, but it jsut doubles the stress.

I thought I would be the only one crazy enough to plan a wedding and househunt at the same time, LOL. FH and I are looking to buy a condo/coop in forest hills queens, but we did happen to notice a development in huntington right off of exit 49 on the LIE. Does anyone know which one I am talking about?
