Thanks Ron and Liz!

I would like to say that I am really appreciative that you just wrote that message to us.

I never doubted you guys for a minute. And I am not ashamed to say that I send you guys 'troll' emails often when I think I see something. Sometimes I am right, sometimes I am not.

I know what you are talking about now, and it makes perfect sense now. Coming from someone who WAS solicited by various brides, I understand you did what you had to do.

And I think it is very nice that you apologized to Christine. I know if I were her, I would appreciate that too.

Thanks again!

Re: Thanks Ron and Liz!

I am right there with you Ron & Liz...You did what was necessary & what should have been done...Your explanation makes plenty of sense & I think all of the future brides will completely understand your decision!

In the past, I was solicited by past brides that became vendors & I just ignore it. You want the freedom of the boards but when you go above & beyond what is 'legal' then there is a problem & something should be done!

thanks again guys!!

Re: Thanks Ron and Liz!

i read this and thought to myself, they really did not need to expalin things to us. i'm glad they did, but i hate that some girls feel we are 'owed' and explanation about the rules.

i think, in maxine's case, rules were clearly broken, to the point where lawyers are involved. i don't know who send the emails and i really don't care, i hate to see people use this site to promote their own businesses. hopefully, we can all move on from this.

Re: Thanks Ron and Liz!

Thank you for posting this. I agree that we are not owed an explanation, but a complete one definitely helps clear the air. It's amazing how much damage can be done with half-truths, and too many people being emotionally involved.

Happy holidays.

Re: Thanks Ron and Liz!

Thank you for explaining....

This may get me booted (I really hope it doesn't, but who knows...), but I have to say something because I am uncomfortable.

I am a friend of Maxine's, but have been on this site for a long time and have encountered countless tips and ideas.

There are always 3 sides to a story - both sides, and the complete truth.

We now have Ron and Liz's side, but because she has been banned, we'll never have Maxine's side....and who knows if we'll ever have the 100%, total truth.

Either way, wrong and/or illegal events may or may not have occured all around, and they have to be dealt with.

I'm just saying that the other party is not here to defend herself, and whether I was a friend of hers or just a complete stranger, I think all people deserve the right to defend themselves.

Thank you.

I agree w/this 150%. There are always 3 sides to the story, and we haven't heard Maxine's side. Perfectly said, Nic.

Re: Thanks Ron and Liz!

and Liz....forgive me if this is too much but you've shown us what is is to be married and a partner...PROTECT your family (and your man) and the life you are building together.

I know I would have done the same thing if I thought someone was wronging my family and livelihood.
