Catholic Brides: paperwork (update)

So this morning before work, I stopped at the rectory to pick up my communion certificate, on it it has the date of my Baptism as well..

I wonder will my baptismal certificate say all three??

If that is the case why make me bring one from each church?? OMG I know I'm going to have a difficult time with this church I can feel it already!

Generally, you just need to get a copy of your baptismal certificate from the church you were baptized in. That is the church that keeps all the records of your sacraments. In theory, when you made your other sacraments, if you made them in a different church, that church should have sent a copy to the church where you were baptized and they add it to your baptismal records.

In my case, they didn't have some things listed, but it wasn't really a problem, since I received my other sacraments from the church where I was married.

I just read your other thread. The church is making you get all those other certificates? I don't really understand why

as far as I know.. the church you were baptized has all the other sacraments there.... in fact, my priest just explained that to me a couple weeks ago.......

sometimes, it pays to be a little forceful, even with the church.... ask again... I don't see why you would have to run around for all that?????????
