I haven't been to any yet. But I don't even know which place I should make an appointment. I have heard of so many good ones on here, don't know which one to start with.

I would say first off figure out what you need/want. Then you could do a search and get an idea for which florist people all seem to love and what kind of prices they have. If I had to pick some to look at, I would look at Burtons and Flower Michelle for starters.

Well I am using Pedestals...

I have heard Flower Michelle is good and so is La Blossom..there are 3 right there for ya...

Not sure where you live but Pedestals and Flower Michelle are within 1 mile of each other

I have searched and there are soo many good Florist on here.

I was thinking of trying Pedestals. But I'm in Suff, it's kind of a hike.

What do you girls think of Location when it comes to a vendor?

I get crazy and think 'what happens if I Live too far and they show up late'. Is that crazy or what?????

Ask your hall who they recommend. They may even have a 'house' florist.

Ask family members or friends who they used and recommend......

it was important to me to have my vendors close by... i love my florist... Open House Country in Stony Brook... fm me if you want more info... she just did my friends flowers and they were beautiful!

Definitely look at LA Blossom - she gave me the best prices of all the vendors I got quotes from. Also Flower Michelle has wonderful reviews

flowers were tough for us too - if you do some research on the ones you picked you are sure to see some beautiful work!

i have heard great things about flower michelle, la blossom and pedastals! i bet la blossom will give you the best price!!!!

I went to Pedestals and they had very nice flowers but didnt wow me. I ended up booking with Flower Michele last night. I though they were great.

Location is a huge factor for me b/c its a feb wedding and i'm afraid of poor weather conditions!! I decided what areas were too far and only looked at vendors within the limits i set. It made it less overwhelming for me.

I did the same thing. I didnt book any vendors that had to cross a bridge or go through a tunnel.
