NRC Brides; How did you do your seating arrangement>

I know usually you would kind of split the hall in half and have the bride's family on one side and groom's on the other with the couple in the middle...since the middle of the room is the band on one side and the bar on the other, and the sweetheart table is off ot one side, how did you do that? TIA

DH has a small family so we did his family on immediately when you walk in on the left (4 tables). My family fit in the 6 tables on the other side of the sweetheart table. And then we arranged friends and co-workers along the other side of the bar - we had a total of 19 tables.
