After all the time and money that will have been put into that dress, you better believe I am getting my times and moneys worth out of it!!! So I am wearing it for as long as I can!!

Re: Is anyone wearing a reception dress?
Not in a million years. IMHO, the movie stars that are doing this, are just throwing money away, and the designers that are now jumping on the band wagon for us 'regular' brides are simply looking for a way to make more money. Not to mention that it looks like two different weddings in the pictures when you do that.

Re: Is anyone wearing a reception dress?
No effing way! However, I will be changing into this dress (being made by my dressmaker as well - gold instead of black) for the afterparty (AFTER the reception.)

Not only am I wearing my dress (AND uncomfortable shoes) for the whole reception, btu we are all hitting the bars afterwards (our wedding ends at 6) and I intend on looking bridal the entire time - great way to freak all the singles out at pick up bars!!!
