Happy Thanksgiving EVERYONE!!!

I just finished writing an email to my office regarding giving thanks that I thought I might share with you. I am the coordinator for the Combined Federal Campaign, something I feel VERY passionate about. Please remember to 'put a little love in your heart' and lend a hand to someone less fortunate this holiday season.

Good morning

On this Thanksgiving Eve, we reflect on all of the things in our lives we are grateful for. In that reflection, we also realize that there are so many that have such a great need. The CFC is still going strong and I am both happy and proud to accept your pledge forms. Remember, the minimum just $2.00 per pay period. Please try to find it in your heart (and wallet) to give just a little to someone else this holiday season.

Even if you decide not to contribute to the CFC, there are many local soup kitchens and food collections going on at this time. Please consider placing a few extra cans of food into your cart as you do your holiday food shopping or perhaps volunteering your time at a soup kitchen. There are many organizations and church groups taking donations and volunteers.

Please enjoy this time with your families and have a safe, happy, healthy and THANKFUL Thanksgiving.

I think sometimes we forget how fortunate we are. It's something I try to remember everyday.
