lol! I was just thinking about this today. This is my first year and with a second job plus wedding planning I just don't have time for doing clubs or coaching anything this year. Hopefully next year I can pick up the slack!

Re: For all the teachers out there: lesson planning v. wedding planning
I've decided this year to team plan being that my plans were being stolen by the teacher next door (we have no doors it's all open). So we all share the lesson planning. I'll do the plans for two weeks and then I have a month free of lesson planning to do wedding planning

I dont bring my plan book home - EVER. I dont need to. I have been teaching for 10 years already. It is second nature. My plan book is always complete - in 10 minutes on Monday mornings!

Re: For all the teachers out there: lesson planning v. wedding planning
ha, this is something I'm definitely worried about... I'm hoping to get a teaching job for next year, and I'm so worried that I won't be able to handle both at once!Actually, that's one of the major reasons why we're waiting until 2007... so I won't be getting married during my first year of teaching, and can use this year to do all the major booking and planning and only have to do the little things during that first year of teaching.
Otherwise I'd probably just fail at that first year of teaching because I'd be so worried about booking florists and bands and everything
As it is, it's getting in the way of my school work and my getting my resume together...
