Beach Weddings

I desperately need help finding a place for this summer. I want something on the beach but not a regular ballroom reception. Something different, outdoors with tents or a less 'ballroom' feel. I am not from LI and am considering seeing these places just through online researching:
The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow
The Gurney's Inn

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I felt exactly the same way and ended up choosing Atlantica in Westhampton. Good luck.

Try the Crescent Beach Club.

I looked at Atlantica but we decided that wasn't for us, so we tried Crescent Beach Club and loved it! Gurney's is also beautiful

I'm getting married on the beach at Gurneys, with the reception immediately following. If you have any questions... feel free to ask. I also grew up in Montauk so i'm familiar with the area.

*As someone mentioned above, Atlantica is very nice, but on the expensive side. I guess it all depends on how many people you'd have.
