JERICHO TERRACE Brides - question for you...

What room are you in and what time does your CH start? I am having my reception in the Skylight room and CH starts @ 8:30pm. My BM keeps telling me I can't start earlier b/c the 'bigger' rooms like mine always start later. I want to see if he's telling me the truth or blatantly lying to my face. FH is upset b/c he wants CH to start at 7:30 instead and our BM is giving us a hard time.

PS - My BM says it's b/c it's a Friday night that we should want it at 8:30pm. Anyone else on a Friday?

I wen to to a Friday weddin in which the CH started at 6.... i don't see why not.

Or maybe even 7:30 is not bad since its a Friday

I am getting married on a Friday at Jericho Terrace with an 8:30 start time (skylight room). We tried to ask them to change it but there was only one weekend they said they could move the time for. It's actually working out better for us so we'll have enough time to take pictures in between the church and the reception. My BM, however, is allowing us to use the lounge at no charge for guests who arrive early. Hope this helps!

i'm having my reception there on a saturday night in the dome room. he gave us two times either 6pm or 7:30 pm. we had taken the 6pm first, but then we decided to go for the 7:30 CH, he changed it with no questions asked. I don't really know who my BM is. Everytime i go there different people help me..

You should ONLY stick to one BM so that things do not get mixed up.

I am getting married at Jericho on 6/18. My wedding ceremony time is 4:30 (in the Skylight room). The CH starts at 5, reception at 6. I would talk to Mike Closs. He will tell you straight why you can / can't start early. He is AWESOME.

Since day 1 we've been dealing with Rob. He's a good guy, but I feel like he doesn't give me a straight answer as to why I can't start @ 7:30 instead of 8:30. But he said it's cool for early guests to hang out in the lounge. What really concerns me is that we won't be eating dinner until about 11:30!

i would speak to someone else, because that is a little too late. remember they are there to serve you. you are paying them, it is not for free. they have to do what u want !!!

I have the Oak room and it is one of the samller rooms (holds 140). My CH starts at 8:15pm on a Friday as well. I beleive it is b/c it is a Friday that it starts so late. I could be wrong.

We have the same exact schedule and we're on a Sunday. Ceremony in the Skylight room and Reception in the Oak Room.

We've been dealing with Anthony as our BM and so far, no problems!!

anthony is pretty nice...
