BBB or LNT for registry? Which is better? Any problems?
Which did you use? BBB or LNT?
I don't plan on registering anytime soon, but Mom and FMIL are already asking where I think I'll go.
I'm definitely using Fortunoff and either BBB or LNT.
Mom suggested Macy's too, and FMIL suggested Target.
Any feedback? Thanks.

Re: BBB or LNT for registry? Which is better? Any problems?
BBB takes competitors coupons and they take their own coupons even if they past their expiration...LNT doesn't...i worked at both places and i found BBB to be so much better! really easy when it comes to exchanges and returns on your registry..

I agree, I really like the registry at BBB. Since they take all cupons a lot of guests like to buy gifts there. I have seen girls posting that only the items on their BBB registry were being purchased.

i used linens n things bc i love that store and some of my gifts that i had registered for and changed my mind and pulled off at the store, the sales people confirmed with me, were purchased by my guests, yet the printout and computer screen i saw did not have tehse things registered anymore. other then that, love them!

Re: BBB or LNT for registry? Which is better? Any problems?
Another great thing about BBB is that for anything off your registry that you return, they give you cash... therefore if there is something you want elsewhere you are not locked into store credit to use only with them. When I started registering that was one question I asked every store we thought of registering with, including LNT.... BBB is the only store to refund in cash.

Re: BBB or LNT for registry? Which is better? Any problems?
i loved working with BBB. they gave us cash for any duplicates (because even with a registry people don't remember to take it off at the register) and they also give you coupons in the mail after you're married for 10% off anything left on your registry. they emailed us if anything was discontinued. i think they were great. plus the coupons never expire with them and you can use LNT coupons there too.

Re: BBB or LNT for registry? Which is better? Any problems?
i voted bbb, b/c there are more on the island and tend to have more stuff.
and, imo, i would register at fortunoff or macys over target - targets merchandise seems to change very often so you would have to constantly update your registry.
have fun!

Re: BBB or LNT for registry? Which is better? Any problems?
BB&B is phenominal as for the many reasons that everyone posted. My only experience with LNT registries was with a friend of mine. A couple of years ago she registered with them and ended up with multiple items...for example SEVEN ROASTING PANS! Don't get me wrong...it was hilarious, but she had to make a trip to LNT to complain and exchange some gifts. Oh...and everyone had the receipt to show it was taken off the registry!

Re: BBB or LNT for registry? Which is better? Any problems?
we're doing neither....
It's great if you don't already have an established home with a full kitchen and bathroom, but we've lived together for years, and bought that stuff years ago....
we're looking forward to some good china and flatware!!!!!

FW and I just started our BBB registry- seems like a good thing to go with them for all above reasons- return policy, fill out your registry policy and such.
