Cost of Bridesmaid/Flower girl Dresses??
I was wondering what you guys think is a normal range of prices for bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses?? Im going to ask my bridesmaids what they think also, but I was just wondering what is reasonable, or what you have spent on them. Thanks!!

I guess it really depends on what kind of financial status their in. I wanted to keep the price of thier dresses under $150 and I shopped around for the best price. Keep in mind alteration prices also.

mine was 156 with an alteration cap of $65
I think that is reasonable, i have two bms that are inlaw school/Grad school and not working so i knew it would be tight for them... i just happened to find a dress that was reasonably priced though... i found what i liked and then got the price and got lucky i guess

Our BM dresses cost $250 + $65 alt cap. I thought it was way too expensive but they wanted them!
FG $50 each

I did not want my BM to spend a lot of money on the dresses. I know I wouldn't want to spend a lot of money on a dress that I could possible not wear again. Unfortunately all the dresses we tried on that looked perfect were close to $200 if not over. Then...thanks to LIW I heard about Netbride.com. I got the girls dresses for $117 this price includes shipping, taxes, etc. Then my MOH does alterations and did her own. My BM took it to a seamstress.
I ended up getting them custom made jewelry which didn't cost much at all, so I included the price of their gowns as their gifts.
Same with FG dress - bought from Netbride.com approx $60.

I think anything under $200 is reaonab;e for a BM dress, and I would say in the $75 range for FG dress. Obvioulsy, the cheaper they are, the happier people will be.

I was at Phyllis' this weekend and she showed me beautiful FG dresses that she has for $45-$100!! worth investigating i think...

Up to $200, before alterations. It also depends on where your bm's are in life-I was MOH for a friend when I was in college and had a hard time coming up with 175+alterations. However, I was recently in a few weddings over the summer, and the dresses were each near $200 and it wasn't a problem because I now earn a few bucks...
